Clarks Grebe with Fish
The waters in the Palo Alto Nature preserve behind the duck pond flow in and out of the area with the tides through pipes under the bridge near the nature center. This day, the tide was low and going out and it created a small pond near the bridge. This pond obviously trapped lots of fish and a pair of Clark's Grebes took advantag of that. They had very good luck fishing that day and I was fortunate to have them come very close to my vantage point.
